Our government healthcare client in BC is seeking a senior technical project manager to manage technical service deliverables and budgets for a number of small- to medium-sized infrastructure projects.

January 14, 2013 to May 31, 2013 with possible extension


Activities & Deliverables

·         Lead the planning team, and project manage the technical IT teams responsible for network infrastructure and provisioning, voice infrastructure and services, and server provisioning.

·         Provide a single point of accountability to deliver the IT infrastructure deliverables.

·         Ensure the overall network/data infrastructure is constructed and tested according to documented organizational technical standards.

·         Ensure users are satisfied with the performance of the fax server.

·         Review and approve project IT Infrastructure deliverables and artifacts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

·         Develop and distribute regular project reporting for IT Infrastructure deliverables.


Candidate Requirements

·         Bachelor or Masters Degree in Business Administration or Computer Science or a combination of experience and education           

·         10 years project management experience, preferably with experience managing IT infrastructure implementations.           

·         Training and experience in best practice project management techniques and processes.            

·         Experience working with, communicating to, and making formal presentations and recommendations to senior management within a large organization.            

·         Experience developing and implementing projects and business process initiatives designed to improve efficiencies.       

·         Experience leading an interdisciplinary team of technical and business resources effectively.     

·         PMP
