We are looking for a Senior Privacy Analyst to help our government client in Regina, Saskatchewan to develop a Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) for a justice and other initiatives.

Location: Regina, Saskatchewan

Duration: 7 months with 3 additional 6-month extension options

Activities & Deliverables

The expected work to complete the PIAs and develop related material (work plan, presentations, etc.) includes:

·         Review and assess previous project privacy work.

·         Convene a Privacy Work Committee to lead development of the PIAs and to develop terms of reference.

·         Develop a high-level PIA using PIA templates from previous projects, as well as a work plan as a template, and gain approval for those documents.

·         Develop a preliminary project assessment to assess known risk with the applications and development.

·         Develop a detailed PIA and gain approval for that document.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Mandatory

·         5-10 years experience as a lead resource developing privacy impact assessments (PIAs) within a government environment for complex automated systems.

·         University degree in business administration or computer science or related field.

Rated

·         Knowledge and experience with Saskatchewan information privacy laws and privacy impact assessment processes.

·         Knowledge of federal information privacy laws including Youth Criminal Justice Act and other federal guidelines.

·         Experience developing and independently managing work plans and project schedules.

·         Business analysis experience on complex information technology systems.

·         Knowledge of information system security methods and leading practices.

·         Leadership experience with establishing and managing working groups and committees involving senior level ministry resources.

·         Strong communication skills including developing and providing presentations for senior sponsors.

·         Experience authoring complex business documents including high level and detailed PIAs.

·         Experience with complex information systems such as CJIMS that manage and maintain highly sensitive and personal information.
