JOB SUMMARY

Are you a highly experienced healthcare project coordinator? Have you taken your several years of hands-on, in-depth project coordination and control experience to the next level, and formally ventured into broader project management? If so, we want to hear from you!

 

We are seeking a Dynamite Project Coordinator / Junior Project Manager with broad and deep healthcare project experience and expertise, for our Toronto-based healthcare client.

 

Duration: ASAP to December 20th , 2013

 

Location: Toronto, ON (downtown)

 

Responsibilities & Deliverables

·         Oversee and monitor project activities, providing leadership and direction, and ensuring consistency with PM strategies and project deliverables.

·         Communicate project status to the PMO, partners and stakeholders.

·         Liaise with other PMs, team members, stakeholders and partners on cross-project activities.

·         Liaise with the Ontario Ministry of Health to meet funding and accountability-related activities.

·         Track project progress and monitor the progress of all project deliverables.

·         Update and maintain the project budget on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.

·         Manage human resources processes, including contracts, invoices and expense databases, etc.

·         Prepare business cases to support resource requirements.

·         Identify and recommend additional required resources to support the project as it evolves.

·         Prepare presentations and documentation for steering committee and working group meetings.

·         Coordinate meetings and meeting logistics for both internal and external meetings.

·         Record business meeting minutes and action items.

 

Candidate Requirements

·         Knowledge of common assessment tools as they relate to the health sector.

·         Significant healthcare project experience.

·         Demonstrated knowledge of, and experience with, implementation methodologies and processes related to health sector change projects.

·         Experience interacting with Ministry of Health leadership to develop communications and documentation, and resolve problems.

·         Proven ability to track and report risks and issues in a timely manner.

·         Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and planning skills.

·         Proven ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members.

·         Ability to independently determine and manage tasks and processes for the purposes of meeting high-level deliverables

·         Proven administrative skills to develop, implement and coordinate a range of support programs, including HR, finance and IT.

·         Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including MS Project, PowerPoint, Word and Excel

·         Experience in the Ontario healthcare sector.

·         Experience in the Ontario Continuing Care sector.
